7:00 hrs - Marathon runners will be transferred by buses to the start (Petratou
Romiou – Birthplace of Aphrodite) of the Marathonrace. The buses
will be parked at the Pafos Mediaeval Fort near the PafosHarbour.
8:00 - 9:00 hrs - Pre-race Music (Pafos Mediaeval Fort square).
8:20 - 8:30 hrs - Countdown to the start of the Marathon distance (Petratou
Romiou - Birthplace of Aphrodite).
9:05 - 9:15 hrs - Countdown to the start of the Half Marathon distance.
9:20 – 9:30 hrs - Countdown to the start of the 10 km Road Race.
10:05 hrs - Estimated time for the return of the 10 km runners.
10:25 hrs - Estimated time for the return of the Half Marathon runners.
11:00 hrs - Marathonestimate time to finish.
11:00 – 12:00 hrs - ‘Musical Sundays’ organised by Cyprus Tourism Organisation. Pop music
by the Music Ensemble ‘Eternity’.
12:00 - 12:45 hrs - Traditional Greek and Cypriot music and dances
(Zorpas, Zeimbekiko tis Evdokias, Frangosiriani, Sousta, etc.)
with the dance group ‘Chorevtico Schima to Kastro’.
12:30 - 13:00 hrs - Music till the completion of all races.
13:00 hrs - Presentation of trophies to category winners of each event.
14:15 hrs - END
