Aphrodite Cup 2009 (Fencing Satellite World Cup)
World class B’ category event which is being included in the world fencing federation’s yearly calendar and awards world cup ranking points. The satellite world cups circuit consists of 11 events and the participants are being submitted by each country national federation. Elephant Tracers (Kids University)
An invitation to a magic journey of knowledge, adventure and creation.
In the next Kids University, our goal is to create, exclusively by children, a Scientific Video-Documentary in the field of Archaeology and Geophysics, about the life of the mini elephants and hippopotamus in Cyprus. The process will be accompanied by creative action such as 2D and 3D animation, the production of the documentary, the editing, sculpture making, theatrical animation, set-design, costume and soundscape. Kids University aims at shaping free-thinking individuals/citizens and cultivating “Education for researchers”. Through non-conventional education, efforts are focused on activating both creativity and scientific knowledge.

An exhibition which covers all the needs of the garden is organized in the premises of the Cyprus State Fair from 24-26 April 2009. The exhibition will present products and services related to garden and flowers such as:

Froso Karsera - Eternal Silence Exhibition
The exhibition with the title “Eternal Silence III” by Froso Karsera will be inaugurated on Wednesday 29 April 2009 at 8.00 pm at Peter's Gallery 2 in Nicosia. The inauguration will perform Mrs. Elsi Christofias, wife of the President of the Republic. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Pancyprian Association for people with autism.
With this exhibition the artist continues her exploration on the same theme as her previous exhibition: Stones frozen in time, stones of silence and endurance.
This time the material of all thirty works presented is watercolor.

3rd Pancyprian Student Photo Exhibition
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Teachers of Photographic Art, organized for the third consecutive year the Pancyprian School Photo Contest, with the participation of High School students.
The photographs selected will be exhibited at a Photo Exhibition in the Central Offices of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus. The inauguration will take place on the 4th of April 2009, at 7 pm. The exhibition includes more than 450 photos by students on the themes: Nature, Free, Architecture, Processed Image and Portraits.

Maria Callas, 30 years later Exhibition
On Monday March 30 at 7pm, the President of the Cyprus Parliament Mr. Marios Karogian will perform the opening the exhibition "Maria Callas, 30 years later".
The exhibition presents a selection of photographs from the archives of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Greek National Theatre, the Associated Press, the Hellenic Literary and Historical Archives, the Benaki Museum in Athens, EMI Classics, the ERT Historical Archives, the Arena Theatre in Verona, as well as from private collections; books from the Library of Congress; memorabilia from the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation; works of art of Karolos Kambelopoulos and Aspasia Papadoperaki.
