Due to the harvesting season we were unable to set a date for a wine tasting in September. We are however planning a trip to Limassol for Tuesday the 27th October at Barolo Restaurant. This is going to be a real treat as the restaurant comes highly recommended and we will be sampling excellent wine from
Constantinou Winery.
As soon as we work out the menu and cost we will let you know. A mini bus will be available for our Paphos members, as long as we have the minimum amount of people, so drinking and driving will not be an issue

From 3pm till evening
This will be a very interesting afternoon, see details below. We will be attending, if any of our Paphos members want to join us we would be very happy to organise a mini bus. Please let us know as soon as possible if you want to join us.
- wine tasting of all Aes Ambelis wines, including their latest release, Aes Ambelis Omiros 2007, a wine made from the Maratheftiko grape variety.
- tasting of organic grape products, such as fresh raisins, fresh palouze, etc
- local cheeses
- local charcuterie from Palechori village, such as sausages and smoked ham cured in wine
- freshly baked artisan bread
- variety of delicacies from the Pitsilia area
- all Aes Ambelis wines will be offered at a special price
- children’s entertainment
- music by DJ Monica, accompanied by a saxophonist

Unrelated to our wine club we are happy to report that the fundraiser “High Tea at Emphasis Café” was a big success. Thanks to all our wine members who supported this event. The next fundraising tea party will be on Wednesday 14th October, if you are interested in supporting this event please contact Chris on 99528022.
