Dear Cyprus Vines Members,
We are out of hibernation and back on track with new events planned for the rest of the year!
Our next wine tasting will be held at Emphasis Café on the 5th March with wines from Ezousa Winery presented by Michalis Constantinides and George Kassianos who will also review and promote the newly released Cyprus Comprehensive Wine Guide. This is a wine guide with a difference, as the author Xenia Theodotou Schneider has included and rated over 200 Cypriot wines. As is customary at our tastings we will have a draw at the end of the evening and one of the prizes will be a copy of the book. For those who wish to purchase the book we will have copies for sale at €19.90 per copy.
For our next event we are planning a weekend getaway at the Ayii Anargyri Natural Healing Spa resort in Miliou, Paphos. The plan is to have the tasting at the hotels marvellous cava, followed by dinner on a Friday night. The choice to stay at the hotel for one or two nights and take advantage of the amazing spa facilities will be optional. In order to secure the best possible package deal please let us know if you are interested so we have an idea of how many of our members would like to join us. This will probably take place mid April after Easter which will make it a nice Spring break.

WINE TASTING
Join us at Emphasis Café for a sumptuous finger buffet and wines from Ezousa Winery.
DATE: Friday, 5th March 2010
VENUE: Emphasis Café
TIME: 6.30pm
WINES: Ezousa Winery
PRICE: €22 per person (includes meal and wine)
Note: Emphasis Café is the new coffee shop next door to the Cyprus Mail Office. It is very easy to find if you are coming into Paphos from the Tomb of the Kings road at the traffic lights instead of turning right to go towards the harbour you will turn left towards Paphos town. The first slip road you find after the big Aristo field on your left leads to our café. We are right next door to Gino’s Pizza. Coming from Paphos town, take the main road from the Police station towards Kato Paphos. After E & S Supermarket and the bowling alley you will see the slip road on your right were Virardi is. There is ample parking behind the café.
We are looking forward to hearing from you. Please let us know if you want to attend the wine tasting as soon as possible
Regards
Christallo Costi
