Angelina Jolie is Seasoned Salt

Angelina Jolie goes undercover as a raven-haired femme fatale (and an all-business blonde) in her upcoming spy flick, Salt. The 33-year-old actress plays Evelyn A. Salt but the movie’s mystery is finding out which one is the real Salt.

The film co-stars Liev Schreiber as Winter, her ally and supervisor in the CIA’s Russia office. Tom Cruise was initially meant to star in the film as Edwin A. Salt but was rewritten for Angie when Tom dropped out last summer.

“She’s a character you never know,” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura tells USA Today. “People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not.

You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”
Salt opens 17th September.
