album by British troubadour Adam Beattie. Adam Beattie and his band ‘The Consultants’ are
based in London where they perform regularly. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to
Leonard Cohen the group’s appearances are always captivating with Adam’s distinctive voice
leading the way in creating what he calls "folk stews dirty blues". It’s worth mentioning that
in the past he had supported legendary guitarist Bert Jansch in Glasgow.
It’s not the first time that Beattie visits Cyprus. Last year he performed with the Consultants at
the Louvana Festival of Acoustic Music and his music appears on the CD that Louvana Diskoi
published shortly after, which included songs from all the acts that played at the festival. The
album he is presenting in October is called ‘We’ll wave from the shore’ and it’s his second release.
