Guinness World Records - Largest Hasapiko Dance in Larnaka

The Municipality of Larnaka and the Larnaka Regional Tourism Body are organising an event to include Larnaka in the Guinness World Records for the "Largest Hasapiko Dance", the greatest number of people simultaneously performing this 5 minute traditional dance.

This event will be held in the Phinikoudes Promenade on 12/12/2010 at 12:00 noon.

Free dance lessons will be offered every afternoon from 6-10 December 2010 between 18:00-19:00 hrs at the premises of the Cultural Services Municipal Office at Athens Avenue.

Free bus transfers from other towns and from hotels in the Larnaka-Dekeleia Road shall also be provided.
