6th Cyprus - Russia Charity Gala

The 2012 Cyprus - Russia Charity Gala is expected to be yet again another unforgettable experience of music, and other various forms of entertainment. This event is an way for people to live in the spirit of Russia, and the hospitality of Cyprus. The event, held in the beautiful Presidential Palace Gardens, Nicosia, combines high quality music, with high quality dining. All proceeds go to the Cypriot charity, Radiomarathon Foundation, which helps children and families with special needs.

Performances introduced by both Russian and Cypriot TV presenters will include rock pioneers Moral Codex, who are one of the biggest rock bands in Russia, Greek international pop-star Despina Vandi, new traditional Russian folk duo Zventa Sventana, winner of the 2008 Madame Figaro Magazine Singer of the Year awards, Greek-Cypriot Katerina Mina and Russian operatic 4 piece Kvatro.

The likes of leading politicians, as well as cultural and business personalities are likely to be in attendance. The Gala has recently become one of the most significant events on the Cypriot calendar, and one of the most important events related to Russia outside of the country. It brings together the best political and business figures from both countries, and brings both countries closer together.

The Gala will take place on Saturday 8th September 2012, and I am sure that it will not disappoint.
