1st Bread Festival at Faneromeni Square, Nicosia

The 1st Bread Festival (Artou) to be held at the characteristic Faneromeni Square, forms a small part of the European Cyprus Presidency program.

In essence, the Festival represents culture in Action through a youthful team with the objective to revitalize the traditions of baking bread and to encourage young people to learn through participation.

The programme features...

• Bread kneading
• Baking by volunteers
• Activities for children
• The music band “Monsieur Dumani”
• The dancing group “Vraka”.

During the Festival, hot bread and other Cypriot delicacies will be offered.
