Mediterranean Festival of Traditional Dance

The Mediterranean Festival of Traditional Dance celebrating its 5th year, will grace Larnaca with its colorful traditional costumes.

The Festival is due to be formally opened on the Larnaca Seafront Stage, Saturday 11th September at 20:00hrs by the President of the House of Representatives Mr Marios Karoyian. Expect to see troupes parading along Athenon Avenue at 19:00hrs and a fireworks display at the end of the opening evening.

Nicosia

For the first time the Festival will be extended to feature a large procession in Nicosia on Tuesday 14th September, which will criss-cross Ledra Street and Onasagorou Street. Bands will proceed to the Pallouriotissa Square, where a wonderful show will commence at 20.30hrs.
