Event Description:
The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra pays tribute to the Carnival having prepared a unique “parade” of musical works which will present humour in music in the various forms it may appear in! Works from all the musical periods will be performed, featuring the comical work for baritone and orchestra Il Maestro di capella (The orchestra Director)by Domenico Cimarosa and Mozart arias from the operas. The abduction from the Seraglio and Don Giovanni. The soloist will be the Greek baritone Tassos Apostolou and the Orchestra will be conducted by its Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Alkis Baltas.

Wednesday, the 27th of February 2013 at Larnaka Municipal Theatre
Thursday, the 28th of February 2013 at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol
Friday, the 1st of March 2013 at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre in Nicosia

All concerts start at 20:30

€12 and €7 (18- 26 years old and pensioners)
Free entrance for children and students under 18
