Event Description
Cyprus Film Days 2013 hits the big screens of Rialto Theatre and Zena Palace Cinema in its 11th edition. Some of the most awarded films of the year alongside new voices and established filmmakers from the international independent cinema will be screened. This year’s exciting programme will showcase international and local productions, special tributes, parallel screenings, workshops and music events.The Festival is co-organised by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture and Rialto Theatre, and aims to promote international and Cypriot cinema, support and screen the films of emerging directors alongside established names of the cinema scene.
The International Jury will award the Best Film Award (accompanied by the sum of € 6.000), the Special Jury Award (accompanied by the sum of € 3.000) and the Glocal Images Award (accompanied by the sum of € 1.000).
Viewfinder is the non-competitive section of the festival hosting awarded films of the past festival year, which are being selected according to criteria set by the Artistic Committee.

Subtitles
All films will be screened in their original language, and will be subtitled both in greek and in english.
Admission
- The entrance will be free to all afternoon and late midnight screenings
- Free entrance for students upon display of student card and AmeA cardholders
