26th Festival of Edon - Famagusta Gate Moat - Nicosia

Event Description
The 26th Festival of Edon, traditionally taking place in July at the Famagusta Gate Moat in Nicosia, is possibly the major cultural event taking place on the island in the summer.

The festival will go on for 3 nights in a row, with each night being bigger than the previous one.

• July 3rd: Locomodo
• July 4th: Vasilis Papakonstantinou
• July 5th: Yiannis Kotsiras, Dimitris Basis, Rita Antonopoulou & Thanos Mikroutsikos

The festival will also include performances of Cypriot bands, a tavern with Greek and Cypriot music, dances and good food, Binominal events with the participation of Turkish Cypriot youth organizations, playground for children, book exhibition, bazaar and many other activities.
