The annual Cyprus Marathon is going to be held on the 9th of March 2014. The marathon will feature a full Marathon run, a half Marathon run and a 10 kilometer run. The Marathon will be run over an almost flat course, reducing considerably traffic and marshalling problems. The starting point will be from Petra tou Romiou (Legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty) finishing with a long section of road on the Pafos seafront at the Pafos Mediaeval Fort square. The course is clearly marked at every kilometer and water / sponge stations energy drinks are manned at regular intervals (every three kilometers).
