Exhibition "Volcanos the life of Earth!

Description:
The exhibition is organized by the French Institute of Cyprus, In collaboration with the Hellenic Bank, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Department of Geology of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment.

This exhibition "Volcanoes, the life of Earth", presented in Greek and French, has three components:
1. an interactive exhibition displaying experiments
2. stones and minerals from Cyprus (provided by the Department of Geology)
3. old books, Neapolitan gouaches, prints and photographs (from private collections).

Its purpose is to present to the public the active volcanism as we know it today, and the story of this science born out of dramatic events caused by major eruptions.
