Fantasia Lefkaritika 17&18 December 2011- Pano Lefkara

Organizers of “Trash in Fashion I” and “Lefkara Art Diary 2011” are inviting creative craft–persons, painters & designers to take part in the “Fantasia Lefkaritika”– the Christmas Fair that will be held in the Lefkara Hotel & Restaurant in Pano Lefkara Village on 17&18 December 2011.

We are welcoming all artists who wish to present for sale their original products related to the famous design of Lefkaritika Lace.

Articles of clothing, pottery, mosaics, jewellery, house items, inspired by traditional Lefkaritika design are particularly welcome.
Other traditional Cypriot motives are also appreciated.
We are looking for Unique, New & Quality applications of lace and Lefkaritika design patterns.

Art Diary: Lefkara 2 WEEK Art Residency

Saturday 10th September @ 19.00 in Pano Lefkara main square 

Artists from the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot Communities, joined by the Artists from Poland, Estonia andthe UK will present a series of sculptures, incorporating re-cycled materials, all to be installed in village. Cocktail, video installation and DJ Tony Cusack playing at the event.
