Beethoven: Known and Unknown Works, April 17th

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra treats the public to a Beethoven journey, and offers a rare opportunity to enjoy some of the “hidden treasures” of the composer: little known works which deserve wider hearing, such as the 12 German Dances and the Rondo for piano and orchestra. Next to them, a number of well known works such as the Coriolan Overture and the Choral Fantasy, an impressive work which foreshadows the “Ode to Joy” for voicing a message for peace and joy through the beauty of the arts.

Description
This event was originally scheduled for the 23rd of March but was postponed for the 30th of April.
Strovolos Municipality Presents “Dream on…”, a Music Concert with the ensemble “Varyavlos III” and vocalist Iro Saia. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Social Health Care Units ran by the Cyprus Volunteer Doctors.
