With the support and the presence of the Nicosia Municipality, representatives of the European Commission, the plenary of International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association(ILGA) – Europe, the High Commissioners of Australia and the United Kingdom, the Ambassadors of Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United States of America and representatives of their Commissions and Embassies, as well as state officials, including the Commissioner for Administration (Ombudsperson), and the President of the Cyprus Youth Board.

End of Human Rights March with a super-fun, celebratory party full of surprises, including DJ sets by Cotsios o Pikatillis of the Afro-Banana Republic crew and a spectacular, full-blown show by international artist A Man To Pet. Expect the unexpected!

19 Days of Activism for the Prevention of child Abuse

Non Profit Organization “Hope for Children” UNCRC Policy Center has yesterday November 13th launched a 19 day campaign against child abuse.

The campaign is aimed to increase public awareness over the crucial issue of child abuse and put an end to every form of it.

Local radio stations will run various messages over the issue and information where youngsters can seek help.

On the last day of campaign, November 30th, UNCRC is calling on the public to switch their car lights from 1.00pm to 5.pm as a gesture of support to the organization and its efforts to abolish any form of abuse.
