The Logicom Cyprus Marathon, which starts from Aphrodite’s Birthplace and follows a coastal route along the Mediterranean Sea, takes place on 8th March 2015, in conjunction with a Half-Marathon and a 10 km road race. The centre for all festivities and the finish line for all three distances is at the Pafos Medieval Fort Square, an area which is steeped in history and culture.
With runners from over 30 countries around the world, the 2015 Logicom Cyprus Marathon will be a multi-cultural running festival. The organisers of the Logicom Cyprus Marathon have paid particular attention to the event’s social aspect and have arranged for a traditional entertainment programme and an entertaining trophy ceremony.
Registration is already open and, due to high demand, spaces are limited. The deadline is Monday 23rd February (2015), after which date a late registration fee will be applied. Groups can take advantage of special rates, which can be found on the official website.
Each participant will receive a high value entry pack upon registration, which will include, amongst other things: race number, a technical t-shirt, HIGH5 sports nutrition goodies and a finisher’s medal. Participants can also expect to find a fluid station every 3 km throughout the course; fruit, juices, water and unlimited beer at the finish line and, of course, to enjoy the experience of a lifetime! This year, the official sponsor of this international running event is Logicom Public Ltd. The event is also generously sponsored by Cyprus Tourism Organisation, Castrol, HIGH5, Micromania, Aloe Hotel, Pafos Municipality and Fotokinisi.
