Cyprus Vines

Dear Cyprus Vines Members,

The wine tasting on the 5th August at Emphasis Café was well attended and I am very pleased to say that all who honoured us with their presence had a really great evening. I say this because it was almost as if I had invited you all to my home as the café is our new family business and this was our first function. Thank you all you’re your support, compliments and encouragement, this was truly appreciated. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wine expert, George Kassianos who tirelessly gave all our members personal attention, not easy since he had to go around to each table discussing each of the 15 wines we tested!
A big thank you to the winemakers from Kolios Vineyards, Vouni Panayia Winery, Constantinou Winery, K & K Vasilikon Winery Kathikas, Aes Ambelis Winery,

Kyperounda Winery, Kamanterena Sodap, Tsalapatis Winery, Ezousa Winery, Fikardos Winery, Tsangarides Winery and Tsiakkas Winery for their support.

We are in the process of organsing our next events. It’s been difficult to get a date for September as this is a very busy month for our winemakers.

Our next wine tasting will be beginning of October, and for November we are planning a special event in Limassol. As most of our members are in Paphos there will be an option for transport to Limassol. We will let you have the details as soon as we can.

I would like to inform all our members of two events which will take place this month. Both are fundraisers for very worthy causes and even though they do not have anything to do with the wine club it would be great if we could support them.
