YouthAid is not about collecting food or donations. It is about helping young people understand that through creativity, hard work and social initiatives they can become empowered and expand their employment options in this time of financial and emotional depression.

A few words about Blynd

Formed in Cyprus in 2003, Blynd wanted to bring the starving underground metal scene on surface and to spread the tentacles of their music over the shores of this small island. Since day one, they give a contemporary spin to the old school aggressiveness of thrash.
Blynd’s first demo “Embraced and Abandoned” (2004) received excellent reviews around the world, such as Terrorizer Magazine scoring the demo with 8.5.

Stronger was the impact of their second demo, “The Human Touch” (2007) in which Blynd defined their sound. The Greek Metal Hammer rated it with 8.5. Positive reviews kept pouring in, so with an air of optimism and drive, the band pressed on to take it to the next level.

Their first full length album “The Enemy” combines huge riffs, powerful drumming and intense vocals that are wrought together creating a dense sonic experience.

Blynd actively perform live all over the island of Cyprus in venues and festivals.

Get the chance to enjoy 2 hours of songs that will take you back in time with the legendary guitarist of "The Scorpions", Uli Jon Roth.

Uli Jon Roth, is a German guitarist and one of the earliest contributors to the neo-classical metal genre. He is also the founder of Sky Academy and inventor of the Sky Guitar.

Uli Jon Roth joined The Scorpions, and in four short years the guitarist created a legacy that still dominates any discussion of what has been an incredibly varied, and productive career. In those years (1974-1978), Roth recorded five albums with The Scorpions, and arguably created a genre of rock guitar known as shred. This last comment may raise the hackles of fans of Blackmore, Page, Schenker, Beck, and Iommi, but Roth brought to the table some skills that none of these greats could quite claim.

Uli Roth took the Stratocaster and Marshall sound of Jimi Hendrix and injected it with a sense of precision, daring, and technique that had not previously been demonstrated. His speed was unparalleled, his knowledge and use of theory unique to the world of hard rock, and his whammy bar histrionics set the stage for Edward Van Halen.

Dave "Bucket" Colwell Performing with Roadway at Savino Bar in Larnaca

Savino Bar proudly presents Dave "Bucket" Colwell from Bad Company performing with the band "Roadway" for one night sponsored by Jack Daniels!

This explosive night will see the band perform a set featuring the greatest hits from Bad Company, Free, and several other tracks taken from Dave's solo album and perhaps some other surprises thrown in. A night not to be missed!

Opening Act: "Neon Knights" 

Biography: Dave Colwell, former guitarist for Bad Company/Humble Pie. Serving for over 16 years with Bad Company, recording and touring with all 3 vocalists that worked with the band, Brian Howe, Robert Hart and the legendary Paul Rodgers. Countless US tours, several world tours, 3 studio albums and 2 live albums including the US Gold Certified live CD/DVD "Merchants of Cool" which featured guest performances from Slash (GnR) and Neil Schon (Journey) form part of Dave's contribution to Bad Company's legacy.

Dave also released his first solo album under the name Bucket&Co in 2010 which featured guest performances from members of Iron Maiden, Thunder and The Quireboys plus many more.

Dave Colwell is one of the UK's most talented and accomplished guitarists, he is backed in this project by several members of the Scottish rock band ROADWAY, including guitarist Ross McEwen who has performed with ex-Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow vocalist Doogie White and Ted Nugent singer Derek St Holmes. Vocals for this show will be handled by the ever capable Ronan Kavanagh who has performed with Mr Colwell plenty in the past, and has also shared the stage with Brian May (Queen) and Kenny Jones (The Who).
